Spay Days
Low-Cost Spay/Neuter
Spay Days is a low-cost spay/neuter program offered by the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society (CPHS) in conjunction with citizens concerned about the desperate problem of companion animal overpopulation in our area.
The program is designed to offer some financial support for loving, responsible pet owners who are not financially able to afford the entire cost of surgery.

67,000
Puppies
One female dog and her offspring could be the source of 67,000 puppies.
420,000
Kittens
In seven years one female cat and her offspring could produce 420,000 kittens.
1,500,000
Euthanized
The Humane Society of the US estimates that 1-2 million animals are euthanized each year.

The Benefits of Spaying/Neutering
Spaying or neutering will not make your pet overweight. To the contrary, dogs and cats live healthier lives and are less susceptible to cancer or disease of the reproductive organs. Also, male animals are less likely to roam or mark their territory.
Please fill out the application and post to the PO Box listed on the form (not to CPHS). It is important you complete the form fully with your name, address, phone number and the animals name, age, sex, weight (approximate), and breed. You must fill out one form per animal.
Failure to complete the form correctly will lead to processing delays.
